14th march 2000, a day to remember, since it was that day that DEA was born. It spawned from the dust of former squad 3MC who played at Tourney 8, a novalogic public server.Chesskng, the founder of DEA, recruited within a week Storm, SweetCheeks, Mr.Gun and Herkulez, all former 3MC members. DEA DeltaForce2* started up as a DeltaForce2 squad for fun and fun only, but soon the competitive spirit grew. After our first match, which was against our friends =THE=, we decided to sign up for a tourney. Our first tourney was CwL, in which we got to the 1/4 final, met FF , the top squad at that time and, well, lost...lol.More important it was there where we first met =KOH=, these guys where an inspiration for DEA and soon after, became our first, and until recently only allies. Since that we have been in numerous tourneys and have up to date fought over 500 matches. We can't point a single match out because they all have a place in our memories but matches against teams like KOH, T§, THE, ZTV, sog, =AO= will always stand out as being some of our best moments. Not because we won or lost but because of the great fun both teams had. If you look at the teams you will see that they are all class act squads and we are proud to call them our friends. DEA, now among the oldest but by far the most active squad in DF2 ever. Our records show that we won loads of tourneys and leagues and our hope is that we will always be in df2. Later we expanded to DeltaForce Landwarrior and played our first LW match against Team Rubber 20 in January 2001. It was a close game but a loss, anyway we did good in TKOTH but felt a need for some more game types and were lucky to get some dedicated members that had CTF as primary which now paid of and makes DEA as one of the best in CTF, at least in Europe. Another major event in DFLW was when DEA "merged" with our allies =bgf= and gave us more possibilities both on the fields and with the daily work. DEA is still very much active in LW and also here we are maybe the most active team. Most remember our WD final against fe² best, our first and only win against them but also one of the best tourneys to win. On top of all is our matches against FiK, though, now there are still around, but matches against FU are alike. Always close, with a little edge to FU in most matches. Also matches with =TT=, FH, V is worth to remember...with also over 500 matches, we must say that the fun factor was always present and made us survive. In time DEA opened their doors to Counterstrike, which was in July 2001, a historic event, broadening our horizon from being a DeltaForce squad to multi-game squad. We played our first match 13 days later. Our first attempt for CS was a failure merely because outsiders ran the division, good people but not really guided by the DEA spirit. We won a lot in the start but when the losses came, the troubles started and the competitiveness was lost by most division members. DEA is still around in CS but only fun based and less competitive. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was another game we went in with loads of ideas, morale and willingness The last DEA expansion was in BF1942, which was October 2002. There we started off for fun only and made up by ex- df2, dflw and rtcw players. By the end of November we decided to open our doors for competition and got our own server. Our first match was a tough 2-2 draw vs. ^PR, the 2nd December. The division grew and got strong, but due to some leadership failures, the interest by the players as lost and therefore the division was closed. DEA is now a large squad with over 100 active members, but divided in small divisions for each game and type. We work hard to stay close and active as one squad and we can say that we succeed in keeping up the DEA spirit and in being a friendly, competitive, fair squad. Some mentioned and many not, but we thank all who we met! For some time now, DEA has has been seen on the fields of battle in Battlefield 2. We will slowly start to play matches as well. 2nd November 2005.* Call of Duty 2 is about to be released in Europe. We feel that it is only natural to try forces with this game, so our COD2 division will be opened soon. We hope for the best for this game.
